Vadipatti - A Town in South India
Vadipatti is a small town situated near Madurai District of Tamil Nadu, India. The vadipatti is inter-connected with well-maintained motor-able roads and train. The bus stand is situated in the heart of the town. Its the town popularly known as bridge of two cities (madurai and dindigul). The village has a creditable record of educated population, mostly due to the presence of 4 privately owned schools and six Indian Government schools.
There is a bifurcated river of VAIGAI runs south of this small township. Its paddy field and plantain field are source for the people who live around this place. There is a famous village near to this place called KULASEKARAN KOTTAI, where Pandian (king) had his palace and Meenakshi temple constructed here by him still exist.
Vadipatti has 8 privately owned hospitals and one Indian government hostpital. Here is one main vegetable market that is feeding to many villagers near by the town. Nobody cant spell it the special of vadipatti. Its so nice to live.
This small town celebrates no. of festivals, including Bull fight during the month of October before Pongal festival. It is really thrill to witness the event. There is a water falls near by the town named "kutladampatti aruvi" also notable place to visit.
